Hola a tod@s!!! olvidé avisaros de que en estos días "mis cámaras" (las personas que me graban) son las chicas...y no ponen todas las ganas que este trabajo necesita....y mira que lo intento!! Bueno, les perdonaremos por principiantes pero en el siguiente viaje que haga con ellas les mandaré hacer un cursillo acelerado! Madre mía si vieséis los vídeos...hay muchos que en vez de grabar no le daban a nada y al acabar la "entradilla" le daban a grabar y se pasaba la cámara grabando el suelo una hora...jajaja. Eso sí, las conversaciones no tienen desperdicio....
Hoy fue día de visita por Dubai. Estuvimos por la zona de Jumeirah. Os cuento lo que dio de sí el día:

Por la mañana dejé a las dubaitinas en mis clases de inglés, en knowledge village, se cogieron un taxi, que aquí son muy baratos, y se fueron a la playa a descansar un poco. La playa elegida fue Jumeirah beach park, que ya os he hablado de ella. Es una playa privada con barbacoas, zonas ajardinadas con árboles...muy chula y barata, creo que 1 ó 2e por entrar. Al terminar las clases me fui a por ellas y nos dimos una vuelta por la calle Jumeirah, que es enorme, lo podéis ver en el mapa. Primero fuimos a un centro comercial que me gusta mucho

En el supermercado nos encontramos con... Carmen de Mairena!! teñida de rubia...quería pasar desapercibida, pero la reconocimos al momento, así que no pudimos pasar sin hacerle una foto!
Pastelitos de hojaldre...Puff pastry ...Después del centro comercial y de que nos pusiésemos finas a pastelitos típico de hojaldre con pistachos....que están buenísimos, nos fuimos a sacarnos la foto de rigor a la playa más famosa de Jumeirah por sus vistas y cercanía al Burj Al Arab

Al lado del Burj Al Arab está Souk Medinat Jumeirah, así que nos fuimos a hacer una visita para que lo pudiesen disfrutar de día.

Después de haber comprado mil pastelitos en el super, pan de pita, fruta... y después de comernos todo, al llegar a Medinat Jumeirah, Eli fue poseída, otra vez, por el espíritu de la gula...y tuvimos que volver a comer! Menos mal que hemos tenido la suerte de tener esta genética maravillosa o que la edad todavía no está haciendo mella, y nos permite comer de todo sin tener que preocuparnos por esos kilitos de más.
La tarde se nos vino encima, ya era hora de volverse a casa, porque nos esperaba una sorpresita... Por fin...Mi primera noche de marcha en Dubai!!!!
Había pensado para esta noche una cena en el barco dando un paseo por el creek, mientras cenábamos. No era la primera vez que iba a una cena así (no sé si os acordáis que fui a otra con unos amigos....) y la verdad que fue estupenda. Esta vez la cogimos a través de Groupón, el precio no estuvo mal, sobre 20e por persona, para comer carne y pollo con algún entrante, está muy bien. A diferencia de la otra vez que el barco salía de Creek(la zona de Bur Dubai, que junto con Deira es la parte más antigua de la ciudad) éste salía de Dubai Marina, pero aunque el lugar de salida fuese diferente yo pensaba que la cena y la ruta sería similar.

For tonight I thought of a dinner on the boat by the Creek. It was the first time I went to a dinner like that (in the first post I told you I went to a dinner on a boat with some friends ...) and that was really great. This time I took dinner through Groupon. The price was not bad, about 20e per person for eating meat and chicken with a starter, is fine. Unlike the other time the ship left Creek (Bur Dubai area, which along with Deira is the oldest part of town) this ship left Dubai Marina, but although the output place I thought was different dinner and the route would be similar.
*Dubai Marina: Muy cerca de The palm, se encuentra este distrito conocido por sus preciosos rascacielos y su canal artificial de casi 4 km de longitud. Es una zona muy chula, llena de restaurantes y con un paseo donde poder caminar disfrutando de las vistas y donde poder ver a todos los "flipados" luciendo sus cochazos! Para los amantes del motor este es el sitio perfecto para recrear la vista...Una estampa muy curiosa ver a la gente dando vueltas con sus coches para lucirse y que les hagas fotos.
* Dubai Marina: Very near The Palm, this district is known for its beautiful skyscrapers and artificial channel of almost 4 km long. It is a very cool, full of restaurants and a walk where to wander enjoying the view and you'll see all the "presumed" wearing their exclusive cars! Nos preparamos a toda leche porque a las 8 teníamos que estar en Dubai Marina. Tuvimos 30min para arreglarnos, imaginaros 5 mujeres, cada cual más presumida, con un baño! Al final 3 se ducharon arriba en las duchas del gimnasio y 2 en el piso. Salimos de casa tardísimo, para no variar, recogimos a Virginia que también se unió al grupo de las chicas y cogimos un taxi grande (un loco que no paraba de hablar por el móvil y nos mandaba callar porque no escuchaba....jajaja) que nos dejó en el puerto. Allí nos esperaba la sorpresa. La cena a la que había ido la otra vez, era en un barco tradicional de madera, pues éste era un barco blanco moderno, muy bonito, pero algo totalmente diferente.
We prepared very fast because at 8 had to be in Dubai Marina. We had 30min to shower, dress ... imagine 5 women, each more smug, with one bath! At the end of 3 showered in the gym showers and 2 on the floor. We left home very late, as always, picked up Virginia also joined the girls´s group and we took a grand taxi (a madman who kept talking on the phone and sent us silent because they didn´t listen ....hahaha) that it dropped off at the port. There we were in for a surprise.The other time had dined on a traditional wooden boat, this time the boat was white and modern, very nice, but something entirely different.
La cena fue una ruina. La comida nos la teníamos que servir nosotras mismas (self service) haciendo una cola de la leche y como fuimos las últimas en servirnos, no nos quedaban un montón de cosas (entre ellas el postre). El barco no se movió del sitio (según ellos por el viento)...un desastre...jajajaja. Imaginaos, yo estaba indignada! Menuda anfitriona, les prometo una velada impresionante en un precioso barco tradicional y se encuentran con un mini barco, cenando apiñadas sin que nadie nos sirva, paradas en un muelle con vistas a los otros barcos...Y para rematarla nos dicen que al final el barco no se va a mover, que nos tenemos que cambiar a uno más pequeño, para dar una vuelta...Como loca me puse a gritarles diciéndoles que nos devolvieran el dinero, que nos habían engañado! Pero ni dinero ni gaitas, nos subieron a un yate pequeño que como ya no quedaba sitio, nos mandaron a la proa.

The ship did not move from the place (according to them by the wind) ... a disaster ... hahaha. You imagine, I was outraged! What a hostess, I promise an evening stunning in a beautiful traditional boat and encounter a mini boat, piled dinner, no one serve us, stops on a pier overlooking the other boats ... And to top it, they tell us in the end the boat is not going to move, we have to change a smaller one to walk around ... I asked them our money back because we had been deceived, but they just ignored me and got upgraded to a small yacht. there was not space and they sent the bow.

Terminamos el paseo sobre las 12 de la noche y nos fuimos a una discoteca Yacht Club. Antes de entrar nos acicalamos en el baño y justo en la entrada y para nuestra sorpresa, el portero nos paró y nos dio un montón de copas a cada una!Ese día descubrimos las "ladies night" (soy fan de esas noches) Todos los días de la semana, hay una Ladies night en casi todas las dicotecas de Dubai, por lo tanto, si una chica quiere salir de fiesta cualquier día de la semana, puede hacerlo sin gastarse un duro!
We ended the ride on the 12 pm and went to a club, Yacht Club. Before going nospusimos beautiful in the bathroom and at the entrance, the doorman stopped us and gave us a lot of drinks for everyone! That day we discovered the "ladies night" (I'm a fan of those nights) Everyday of the week, there are Ladies night one in almost all Dubai discos, therefore, if a girl wants to party any day of the week, you can do it without spending anything!
Fue una noche perfecta, donde conocimos a gente genial. El mejor estreno para la primera noche de fiesta en la ciudad, no pudo salir mejor! Bueno, si podía ser mejor...en Dubai a las 3 de la madrugada cierran todas las discotecas, así que, si no estás invitado a ninguna fiesta privada, te tienes que ir a casa.
It was a perfect night, we met some great people. A fun night! The best opening for the first night out in the city, he could not do better! Only one problem ... in Dubai at 3am close all the clubs, so if you're not invited to any private party, you gotta go home.
Y con toda esta marcha en el cuerpo me despido. Mañana nos vamos a Abu Dhabi, la capital de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Toca conducir durante una hora y media...o más si nos perdemos, que será lo más normal.
