Safari por el desierto de Dubai!

 Hoy era el último día en Dubai para las chicas y les había reservado para ese día algo especial, un safari por el desierto, una de las atracciones más típicas de Dubai. Te recogen en casa y o en el hotel y te llevan al desierto donde puedes disfrutar de diversas actividades.
 La noche anterior habíamos quedado con mi amiga Habiba, una chica francesa que conocimos. Ella nos presentó a un montón de gente española que vivía en Dubai. Por medio de uno de los chicos que nos presentó conseguimos una excursión al desierto muy barata. Nos recogian en casa a las 4 de la tarde y nos íbamos al desierto hasta las 7.
 Así que al tener toda la mañana libre nos fuimos a ver parte de las cosas que nos faltaban, como por ejemplo, la famosa palmera, The Palm.
 La primera vez que ví la palmera en fotos me imaginaba algo impresionante y super exclusivo, con esto no quiero decir que no lo sea, pero en mi imaginación pintaba de otra manera.
 En realidad son unas calles con casas muy similares a los dos lados, eso sí, con unos coches aparcados delante que quitan el hipo.

 Today was the last day in Dubai for the girls and I had booked them something very special, a desert safari, one of the most typical attractions of Dubai. They pick up you at home or in the hotel and take you to the desert where you can enjoy different activities.
The night before we had stayed with my friend Habiba, a French girl that we met. She introduced us to a lot of Spanish people living in Dubai. Through one of the guys who introduced us got a very cheap trip to the desert. Picking us up at home at 4 pm and we were going to the desert to 7.
 So to have all the free morning we went to see some of the things that were missing, such as the famous palm tree, The Palm.
The first time I saw the palm tree photos I imagined something very impressive and exclusive, I don´t mean that it isn´t, but my imagination saw it another way
Actually, the palm are a few streets with similar homes on either side, very average, with cars parked impressive

                     
Eso sí, para poder acceder a las ramas de la palmera, tienes que conocer a alguien que viva allí porque hay un control dentro de cada rama y como no le digas en nombre de la persona que vas a ver y el número de la casa, allí no entras.
 To access the branches of the palm you have to know someone who lives there because there is a control within each branch and you have to tell the person you're going to see and the number of home where this person lives.
                           
 Con un poco de enchufe, entramos en el palmera y disfrutamos un poco de esas playas artificiales y privadas que tiene.
 With a little plug, we could get into the palm and enjoy these artificial and private beaches it has.

           
 La Palmera está muy cerquita del Hotel Atlantis, así que después de verla, intentamos probar suerte en el hotel, a ver si nos podíamos colar al igual que en el hoel Emirates Palace de Abu Dhabi.

Pero esto fue lo único que pudimos conseguir, la típica foto del hotel por fuera. 

 El hotel Atlantis fue inaugurado el 20 de noviembre del 2008.  El coste aproximado del resort fue de 1.200 millones de dólares, financiados por el magnate del cobre chileno Tomás Arellano Contardo. Es practicamente idéntico al hotel Atlantis Paradise Islands de la las Bahamas.

 El hotel incluye también uno de los mejores parques acuáticos, al que pronto iré.

 La Palmera is very near the Hotel Atlantis, so I then went to try to get into hotel.
But this was all we could get, the typical picture of the hotel from the outside.
The Atlantis hotel was opened on November 20, 2008. The approximate cost of the resort was 1,200 million, financed by the Chilean copper magnate Thomas Arellano Contardo. It is almost identical to hotel Atlantis Paradise Islands in the Bahamas.
The hotel also features one of the best water parks, soon I will go.

 Nos volvimos a casa ya que en unas horas nos recogían para irnos al desierto.

 Nos pusimos la ropa de faena y nos bajamos a esperar a que nos viniesen a buscar. A las 4pm ya estábamos dentro del coche de Mohamed destino al desierto de  Sharjah.

 La primera parada fue en unas tiendas en medio de la carretera donde te ofrecían de todo para comprar...

 Tardamos sobre una hora en llegar al desierto, pero por fin pudimos disfrutar de esa maravilla.

 Al llegar al desierto comenzó la locura en el 4x4. Nos tocó un piloto de lo más profesional, y más que dar tumbos, dábamos vergüenza...

 Al terminar el rally por las dunas, nos llevaron al campamento. Allí nos juntamos con un montón de gente que venían en otros coches.
 At the end of the rally through the dunes, They took us to the camp. There we met with a lot of people who came in other cars.
           

Nada más llegar y antes de entrar al campamento, puedes sacarte las típicas fotos con el halcón, dar una vuelta en camello (y nunca mejor dicho, una vuelta. Montas al camello, das tres pasos y te bajan jajaja) o montar en quads. El piloto nos dijo antes de bajar que la vuelta en camello entraba en el precio pero si queríamos montar en quad, había que pagar. Almudena no debió entenderle muy bien, porque nada mas pararse el coche, bajó como loca y se montó en un cuad y se puso cual niña de 3 años a dar vueltas haciendo caso omiso a nuestras recomendaciones y advertencias de que ese servicio no entraba en el precio. Claro, después nos tocó pelearnos con los pobres hombres para que no le cobrasen.

Before entering the camp, you can get you the typical photos with falcon, a ride on a camel (and never better, you ride the camel, and give you three steps down hahaha) or driving a quad. The pilot told us, before leaving the car, turned camel entered the price but if you wanted to ride a quad, you had to pay. Almudena shouldn´t understand very well, because nothing else stopping the car, down crazy and mounted on a quad and as if she were 3 years old, she began to spin. ignoring our recommendations and warnings that service was not included in the price. Of course, then we had to fight with the poor men for they din´t  charge her.

 Nada más entrar en el campamento ya nos estaban esperando unos señores que nos llevaron a tomar té y a fumar shisha.

 Dentro del campamento había como recintos o jaimas, donde podías hacer diferentes actividades. El el centro estaban las mesas para cenar y el escenario y rodeándolo las jaimas donde estaban las mujeres para decorar tu cuerpo con dibujos de henna...
 Inside the camp, there were as enclosures or jaimas where you could do different activities. The tables were the center for dinner and surrounding it the stage and jaimas where women were to decorate your body with henna drawings ...

                                       

Justo después del té salimos del recinto y nos fuimos a lo alto de unas dunas para hacer lo que más nos gusta, sacarnos fotos.

  Y justo al bajar, tuve que hacer una cosa que siempre me había encantado hacer, "tirarme a rebolos"(expresión gallega, marchar rodando por un plano inclinado)

 And just down, I had to do something that I had always loved to do, "throw me rebolos" (Galician expression, go rolling down an inclined plane).

                                                

 Después de esa valiente peripecia y de tener un mareo en el cuerpo que no podía con él, nos sentamos relajadas a ver el espectáculo de danza del vientre y el baile tradicional emiratí de los hombres.

 After that brave eventful journey that made me get dizzy a lot, we sat relaxing to watch the show of belly dancing and traditional dancing Emirati men.

                                                            

      

                     

 Después de adornarnos con henna, nos pusimos a la cola con para coger la cena, que consistía en ensaladas variadas, hummus, y direntes tipos de carne a la parrila y pollo.
 Realmente, y a mi parecer, el precio que se paga por el safari está más que amortizado. Que por 20e  te recojan en casa, te lleven al desierto que está a una hora de Dubai, te lleve un profesional por las dunas, te inviten a té, fumes shisha, te pinten con henna, veas dos espectáculos tradicionales y cenes una buena cena.. Vamos, que yo lo tengo claro, voy a repetir.

 After adorn with henna, we got in line to catch dinner, which consisted of salads, hummus, and direntes meats and chicken on the grill.
Really and in my opinion, the price paid by the safari is more than amortized. For 20e you collect at home, take you to the wilderness which is about an hour from Dubai, takes you through the dunes a professional, you are invited to tea, smoke shisha, you paint with henna, traditional performances and see two cenes a good dinner. . Come on, I  have it clear, I'll repeat

           

Dentro del precio "pack safari" no estan incluidas las bebidas alcohólicas, pero si quieres beber alcohol, lo venden en unos puestos dentro del recinto. Así que pude disfrutar de una buena cena con una buena cervecita que me supo a gloria!

 Y agradecer al señor con el que salgo en la foto, se portó de lujo con nosotras!

 Inside the price "safari pack" are not including alcoholic drinks, but if you want to drink alcohol, sell it in a few places within the enclosure. So I could enjoy a nice dinner with a good beer that tasted like heaven!

 Ya por fin y muy cansadas nos llevaron para casa. El camino de vuelta fue muy interesante, nuestro super conductor nos estuvo hablando todo el camino de la religión Musulmana, el Corán... La verdad que nos dió unas clases gratuitas y muy interesantes.

 Las chicas se levantaban muy temprano para ir al aeropuerto, por lo tanto decidimos quedarnos en casa y abrir ese Ribera del Duero tan rico que me trajeron con ese jamón ibérico... 

Con mucha pena me dormí sabiendo que al día siguiente se acabaría la aventura con mis amigas, pero otra parte de mí se alegraba porque por fin iba a poder descansar, jajaja

 Hoy fue un día perfecto. Gracias a todo aquello que ha influido para que este día hubiese sido tan especial! Gracias!

 At the end they took home. The way back was very interesting, our super driver was talking to us all the way to the Muslim religion, the Koran ... The truth that gave us a free and interesting classes.
The girls got up early to go to the airport, so we decided to stay at home and open that Ribera del Duero so rich and so rich that Iberian ham that had given me.
With so sorry I fell asleep, knowing that the next day the adventure would end with my friends, but another part of me was glad because finally going to be able to rest, hahaha
Today was a perfect day. Thanks to all that has influenced this day would have been so special! Thank you!
